ALICE COOPER'S NIGHTMARE Opens Doors For Second Time
October 1, 2002ALICE COOPER is opening his haunted house for the second time from one month from October 2nd to November 2nd, according to Australia's Undercover.
The house, dubbed Alice Cooper's Nightmare, features a combination of high-tech Hollywood and rock 'n roll special effects to create a 12,000-square-foot maze of creepy nooks and crannies. Many effects were created by Distortions Unlimited, designer of Cooper's tour effects, including the requisite guillotine.
Visitors to the nightmare have described it as a "bloody good time". Alice Cooper's Nightmare is already considered America's greatest haunted attraction. It uses state of the art effects, skilled actors and detailed settings to scare even the bravest victim.
The Nightmare is located at 141 E. Jackson Street, at 2nd Street, next to Alice Cooper's town in downtown Phoenix. The house will be open Wednesdays through Sundays, October 2nd through October 20th, and nightly from October 21st through November 2nd.
Daily hours of operation are as follows: Sundays-Thursdays — 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, Saturdays and on Halloween — 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
